Thomas Williams was the first jr. high school built in Cheltenham Township. Two additional jr. highs would be built later. This was the last building erected of the post war boom. Thomas Williams was a former School Board member whose father was also a School Board member. Thomas Williams Jr. High school was located on Hewett Road, Wyncote, PA. 1928 to 1970. Built in 1928, the building was demolished in 1970 and became the site of Thomas Williams Park, owned by Cheltenham Township.
