Michael L. Brecker,
Class of 1967, one of the most highly regarded jazz players of his time, died
on Saturday, January
13, 2007.
In 2005 Brecker
learned he had myelodysplastic syndrome, a blood and
bone marrow disease formerly known as pre-leukemia. He is the brother of Randy Brecker. class of 1963 and
Emily Brecker Greenberg, class of 1965.
